Global Evolution’s Frontier Markets Strategy has been awarded Best ESG Investment Fund: Emerging Markets Debt 2024 by ESG Investing. These awards serve to celebrating the best in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) funds, research and products.
The ESG Investing Awards 2024 are devoted to assessing and evaluating the best companies involved in all areas of ESG investing across the globe. They are designed exclusively for banks, investment managers, research houses, ratings agencies, index and ETF providers and exchanges. Awards categories are assessed by a panel of independent judges comprising financial market professionals, academics and independent experts. For each award category there was a shortlist of nominees from which the judges then choose the winning entrant.

Best Fund Manager 2023
Global Evolution’s Deputy CIO EM Sovereign Debt and Lead Portfolio Manager on our Frontier Markets Strategy, Christian Mejrup has been awarded Best Fund Manager 2023 by Citywire Italy in the category: Bonds – Emerging Markets Global Hard Currency. These awards serve to recognize the top-performing public funds that are offered to the Italian wealth managers and fund selectors by asset managers and financial advisors. The awards are granted annually and highlight funds and fund managers that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted financial performance relative to their peers.
The Awards are open to all Investment Managers that offers UCITS funds in Italy. Criteria for entry depends on the chosen category’s terms and conditions. The awards are return-based and winners are determined by Citywire’s own Analyst group. Best Fund Manager Awards go to the individual fund manager generating the highest risk-adjusted returns in a particular sector over the past three years to 30th of September 2023 in Italy. These are based on the individual track records for all funds in the sector over this period. The ratings methodologies are actuarially approved by AKG Actuaries & Consultants.

Best Boutique Emerging Markets Investment Manager 2023 and Most Pioneering in Debt Investment ESG Integration 2023
Global Evolution has been awarded Best ESG Investment Fund: Emerging Markets and ESG Innovation of the Year by Clear Path Analysis at the ESG Investment Leader Awards. These awards serve to recognize the top-performing funds that integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations in Emerging Markets and has implemented a particularly novel or alternative approach to their ESG investment strategy, asset allocation framework, or operational process, resulting in innovative efforts to create positive change within the investment industry.
The Awards are open to asset managers, insurance investment teams, plus defined benefit and defined contribution pension funds to be recognized for their commitment to excellence in ESG investing, investment operations, risk, and reporting in the industry. Criteria for entry depends on the chosen category’s terms and conditions. The awards are merit-based and to determine the winners for both categories, the judging panel considered factors such as strong financial fund performance, ESG integration, and the level of transparency and engagement with stakeholders for Best ESG Investment Fund: Emerging Markets. To determine the winner for the for the category: ESG Innovation of the year, the jury considered the concept, the intent, the thought process behind the initiative, essential data and information showing how the innovation has performed, and lessons learnt to date. Particular emphasis was put on how truly different the initiative is considered to be from wider industry efforts, not the success, to ensure trail blazers and those seeking to break new ground are recognized.
